Support for reading groups

Due to essential maintenance work on Wednesday 16 May 2012 there may be some disruption to the following services for a short period of time from 6pm:

Rights of Way, Wiltshire Swindon Learning Resource, Schools Directory, Wiltshire Community History and Wills

Please tell us what you think about our website, we welcome your feedback.

We love reading groups, and offer a membership card especially for them. With this card groups can take advantage of:

Up to 20 items on loan at a time
A six week loan period
Free requests for their reading group title
Other information about reading promotions

We ask that the reading group nominates a contact who will be responsible for managing the card, and letting us know who can borrow books on it.

We also ask that you complete a brief (one paragraph) review of the book the group has read each time so we can share it with other library users. This can be sent to yearofreading@wiltshire.gov.uk or handed in at your local library – please make sure you include the name of your group with the review.

We would also love to be able to contact you occasionally in the future with information about book promotions, author events, and other things we think you might be interested in. For that reason we are also starting to collect e-mail information for reading groups where this exists.
