House to house collections
About this service
A house-to-house collection is a charitable collection made by means of visits from house to house to give money or other property. This is also applicable to collections taking place in public houses and places of business. The collector moves on after each collection.
It is both an offence to promote and make a house-to-house collection for charitable purposes without the promoter first obtaining a licence from the Licensing Authority.
