Retail inspections
Visits are undertaken to retailers using risk assessment criteria to help us target activities.
During these inspections, any weighing and measuring equipment used for the sale of consumer goods is tested for accuracy, food is inspected for labelling and composition and prices and descriptions of good are checked for accuracy.
Products and services may be tested to quality and safety standards.
