Summary of Service
We provide a facility for the application of temporary traffic restrictions including road closures.
Details of Service
There are many reasons why a temporary traffic restriction or road closure may be needed. A Highway Authority may have to close a road for health and safety reasons during maintenance operations, or a member of the public may have to apply for a road closure to safely carry out building repairs. For whatever reason the road closure is needed, it must come into operation by means of a Legal Order and therefore the procedures and requirements must be strictly adhered to.
