Community and Living
We want to extend support for our councillors as community leaders, listen to young people through the Wiltshire Assembly of Youth, consult older people and other client groups more often and devolve powers and decisions to local communities. We want to be a transparent and local County Council with strong links to local communities helping local people identify their aspirations and priorities.
We have been awarded Beacon status for our work in ‘getting closer to communities’.
