The next Area Board meeting will take place on Tuesday 30th March 2010 networking and refreshments 6.30pm for 7.00pm start - venue to be confirmed.
Speeding
During recent months several speed issues have been reported.
Traffic counts have now been undertaken and in the majority of cases the average speed travelled was below that identified for the site.

At the Corsham Area Board meeting on 2nd February the outcome of a review of proposals to upgrade local junctions to accommodate development traffic from sites including Basil Hill, Spring Park, and associated sites was announced. The review found that the originally proposed junction changes on the A4 which included traffic signal controls could be dealt with in other ways. The review report can be found here and includes indicative plans showing draft alternative arrangements. Discussions will continue with the MOD to secure implementation of changes.
