About this service
This ceremony is for any same sex couple that wish to celebrate their civil partnership registration and their commitment to each other.
In Wiltshire, we have four Registration Offices and many other stunning venues, so no matter what kind of ceremony you are looking for; we can provide you with a location that is perfect for your needs. Our trained and dedicated team is here to offer advice and do our utmost to make sure that your ceremony is special in every way.
There are two types of ceremony available, a Standard Ceremony and an Enhanced Ceremony. The Standard Ceremony has been put together by our staff and is only available at the Registration Offices. The Enhanced Ceremony is only available at Approved Venues.
The Enhanced Ceremony is unique to the individual couple where you will be given the opportunity to discuss your specific requirements to include e.g. favourite pieces of poetry. You will be creating a memorable event that you and all your guests will remember. Take time to consider what music, readings or poetry, have meaning for you both. Special people in your lives can take part in your ceremony. Registration Officers are trained and experienced in conducting many different ceremonies so do ask their advice on anything you are unsure about.
You will also need to ask two people to witness the signing of the schedule and a commemorative certificate will be provided to mark the occasion.
Payment
All bookings for ceremonies at approved venues are subject to a £29 reservation inclusive of VAT, which is non-refundable. See Fees for more information.

Fees for ceremonies are subject to review annually and are effective from 1 April. Any increase in fees will apply to any ceremony due to take place at approved venues on or after 1 April even though a deposit/fee has already been paid.
