There is one Register Office, three Registration Offices and ten outstations in Wiltshire which the public can visit to register births and deaths; complete the legal preliminaries to marriage and civil partnership; request copy certificates and make enquiries.
As these offices are open for varying amounts of time, all offices run an appointment system and can be contacted by ringing one number: 01225 713007 – between 8.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
Emergency Contact Details
In the event of an extreme emergency outside of these hours, relating to the urgent need for a marriage or civil partnership to take place or for a burial within 24 hours, the hospice or hospital chaplaincy or your Wiltshire funeral director will be able to contact officers of the registration service.
