Shortcuts for voluntary work

Wiltshire Council is working to increase volunteering in the county and to publicise the benefits volunteering can bring to the individual, to the Council and to communities.  

Details of volunteering opportunities in Wiltshire are available though the Wiltshire Volunteer Centre website.  Information about volunteering with Wiltshire Council, for example with Libraries, Rights of Way and the Countryside team, are also available through the Volunteer Centre.

Voluntary and Community Sector Awards 2011

Wiltshire Council in partnership with NHS Wiltshire, hosted the second annual ‘Voluntary & Community Sector Awards’ to recognise the contribution made by the voluntary and community sector, to acknowledge and award their valuable work
