County Hall is only 500m away from Trowbridge Railway Station, it takes 5 to 10 minutes to walk along Bythesea Road.(see large map)

There are special cycle paths in Trowbridge which run near to County Hall.

Secure and covered cycle parking is available in front of our reception entrance.
You can use a personal locker to store your cycling equipment safely during your visit. Showers are also available. Please ask at reception.
County Hall is only a short distance from the main town centre bus stops. Full details and times of all bus services are available from the Public Transport Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 or visit Traveline.

Taxis are available opposite the Town Hall Bus Stops and outside the train station. Or you can call our reception for more information on 01225 713000.
Visitor parking at County Hall is very limited, so please use pay and display car parks just 2 minutes walk away. Please also try to Share a lift - find a carshare partner on Car Share Wiltshire.

Exit M4 at Junction 17 and follow signs to Chippenham via the A350. Continue on A350 for 11 miles then follow signs to Trowbridge, via A361.
In Trowbridge, follow signs for ‘Through Traffic’, until reaching a multi lane roundabout controlled by traffic lights, then follow signs for ‘County Hall & Libraries’.
Follow the A350 or the A36 beyond Warminster to Bath. Remain on A36 until Beckington and turn right onto A361 for Trowbridge.
In Trowbridge, follow signs for ‘Through Traffic - Chippenham & Bath’, until reaching a multi lane roundabout controlled by traffic lights, then follow signs for ‘County Hall & Libraries’.
At Deptford, take the A36 to Warminster. Remain on A36 until Beckington and turn right onto A361 for Trowbridge.
When in Trowbridge, follow signs for
'Through Traffic Chippenham & Bath', until reaching a multi lane roundabout controlled by traffic lights, then follow signs for 'County Hall & Libraries'.
Approximately 5 miles after Mere, turn left onto A350 to Warminster. At Warminster join A36 to Beckington and turn right onto A361 for Trowbridge.
When in Trowbridge, follow signs for 'Through Traffic', until reaching a multi lane roundabout controlled by traffic lights, then follow signs for 'County Hall & Libraries'.
All goods and parcels should loading bay at the rear of thefrom Mortimer Street.
By using one of the alternative travelling to County Hall helping to reduce congestion you will be helping to keep fitter and healthier. Walking, and cycling are both great reach the Department of levels of 30 minutes moderate a day. Feel the benefit!
