Committees
Committees are appointed by the County Council on an annual basis to carry out the functions of the Council which it choses to delegate to a specific group in order to make informed decisions.
The Cabinet will manage the policy and budget framework of the Council, whilst committees will exercise other functions delegated by council. The County Council makes a large number of decisions throughout the year and uses committees to manage the process effectively. Committees at Wiltshire County Council are shown below:
