Children's Services Scrutiny Committee
Purpose
The Children's Services Scrutiny Committee is responsible for scrutinising the statutory children's services functions of the County Council. Primarily this covers education and social care for young people. Its full statutory terms of reference are set out in the Council's Constitution.
Membership
The Chairman of the Children's Services Scrutiny Committee is Mrs Carole Soden.
The Vice Chairman of the Children's Services Scrutiny Committee is Mr Malcolm Hewson.
The Committee is comprised of 13 members (membership).
