County Health Scrutiny Committee
Purpose
The Committee is responsible for scrutinising the provision of NHS health services and wider public health issues in Wiltshire. It works in collaboration with partner district councils, health service bodies, neighbouring local authorities and national agencies. The full statutory terms of reference for this Committee including its power of referral to the Secretary of State are set out in the Council's Constitution.
Membership
The Chairman of the Health Scrutiny Committee is Mr Roy While.
The Vice Chairman of the Health Scrutiny Committee Dr John English.
The Committee is comprised of 9 members (membership).
