Wiltshire Public Service Board (WPSB)

It is the public sector board for Wiltshire. It brings together key public sector organisations that allocate significant resources to Wiltshire and are held accountable by government. The membership is largely comprised of elected Members and Chairmen who have the authority to commit resources on behalf of their organisation, supported by key officers.


The WPSB assists the public sector within Wiltshire to work together in a more focussed way to improve its efficiency and effectiveness. It will agree strategy and commitment from the public sector organisations.

The WPSB is chaired by the Leader of Wiltshire council.

  • NHS Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group
  • Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Community Rehabilitation Company (Formerly Probation)
  • Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue
  • Wiltshire College
  • Ministry of Defence
  • Department for Work & Pensions
  • Natural England
  • Environment Agency
  • Homes and Communities Agency

The board meets every 8 weeks.
