The next Chippenham Area Board meeting will take place on Monday 5 March 2012 at the Neeld Hall, Borough Parade, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 3WL - 6.30pm for 7pm start.

Youth Funding

Chippenham Area Board is inviting local children and young people to come up with ideas for projects which will benefit 5 – 19 year olds in the Chippenham Community Area. Young people are invited to apply for funding by 31 January 2012 and those meeting the criteria will be invited to present their ideas to the Chippenham Area Board on Monday 5 March 2012.

At that meeting everyone present will vote on the projects and influence how money is allocated.

Community Area Awards

Following the successful launch of the Chippenham Area Board Community Awards Scheme last year, we would once again like to recognise and celebrate the efforts which local volunteers are making in our community.

We are conscious that there are many hard working and committed individuals and organisations who volunteer in our area and they deserve to be commended for their contributions.

We shall have 3 award categories:

• Individual
• Team/Group
• Junior/Youth

The Award Ceremony will take place at the Chippenham Area Board meeting on 30 April 2012.

We shall be assembling a judging panel to consider the nominations and would be pleased to hear from Councillors on the Area Board, Town or Parish Council and a representative from the ChAP who are interested.
