Chief Executive

Dr Keith Robinson is Chief Executive of Wiltshire County Council.

Keith joined Wiltshire County Council as the Chief Education Officer in 1993 and was appointed Chief Executive in 1996.

Children and Education

Carolyn Godfrey is Director of the Department for Children and Education

Environmental Services

George Batten is Director of Environmental Services.

The Department is responsible for a wide range of services including Highways and Traffic Management, Structure and Local Planning, Passenger Transport, Economic Development, Trading Standards and Property Management.

Community Services

Sue Redmond is the Director of Community Services. She was appointed to lead this new department in December 2006.

Community services is responsible for adult social services. libraries, community planning and community safety

Resources

Dr Carlton Brand is the Director of Resources. He was appointed to lead the team in February 2007.

The Department of Resources is responsible for Performance and Risk, Finance, Procurement, ICT, Communications, Human Resources, Legal and Democratic Services and the Customer Care Unit.
