As part of the statutory complaints procedure for Adult Social Care, we have to produce and make available a yearly report about the complaints we received, how they were answered and if they progressed through the complaints process. As a method of good practice, we also include sections on how we have learnt from complaints, how we have used them to improve services and what our plans are for the future.
We also use the report to record the number of compliments about the services we provide.
The report is also currently considered by the Council's Standards Committee annually.
