Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) vetting for Contract / Suppliers we are an umbrella organisation and can carry out checks for other Organisations who have substantial, unsupervised access to children or vulnerable adults.

The CRB has access to personal records held by the Police, The Department of Health and The Department of Education and Skills ensuring the best possible scrutiny of applicants.

Our recruitment team will issue CRB forms to the relevant people, check completed forms for obvious errors before they are forwarded to the CRB for disclosure clearance. The disclosure report will be received direct from CRB by the applicant and umbrella body simultaneously.  Feedback will be given to the organisation on the disclosure report.

Payment

There are two levels of CRB checks:

• Standard
• Enhanced

The level of clearance you require will depend on the type of work the applicant undertakes. The cost for CRB disclosures is set by the CRB. We will make a charge for administering the umbrella services. Administrative charge is £18 per application.

Eligibility

As an umbrella body we can process CRB applications on behalf of organisations.  We are not able to offer this service to private individuals wishing to use the services of another individual, for more information on this subject, please visit Criminal Records Bureau website or contact the CRB on 0870 90 90 811 for advice.
