Research and statistics
The Corporate Policy and Research Team work to provide appropriate research, evidence and analysis in support of policy formulation. The key areas of the team’s work are briefly summarised in the related pages in this section, and the resulting reports are available through the Wiltshire and Swindon Intelligence Network.
Please note that the majority of the documents referred to in the related pages were produced before the creation of one Council for Wiltshire, and therefore a proportion of the data and discussion is pitched at old District level. They were also largely produced before the recent change in Community Area boundaries (with the notable exception of the Community Area Profile briefing papers, which were produced for the new Area Boards).
