A brief description of the partnership
The purpose of the Children & Young People’s Trust Board is to improve outcomes for children & young people in Wiltshire. It does this primarily through maintaining and implementing a Children and Young People’s Plan (which is a statutory requirement). Actions within the current Children and Young People’s Plan contribute to key elements of the Local Agreement for Wiltshire (LAW).

Priority actions for the Children & Young People’s Trust Board within the LAW
- Improve educational attainment and activities for young people
- Improve services for disabled children and young people
- Improve sexual health, support mental well being by early attachment, promote resilience, reduce substance misuse, tackle obesity and improve healthy eating and exercise
