North Wiltshire

Derry Hill - Calne

The development of 15 properties comprises of 4 x 1 bedroom, 1 x 2 bedroom, 2 x 3 bedroom and 2 x 4 bedroom properties for rent and 3 x 2 bedroom and 3 x 3 bedroom properties for Homebuy.

The properties will be managed by Guinness Housing Association and are expected to be complete by September 2008.

Chaveywell Court - Calne

The Chaveywell Court development in Calne brings 4 new properties for rent in Calne. All are 2 bedroom and are managed by Jephson Housing. The houses are now complete.

Lavender View - Calne

There are 9 properties being built at this location in Calne. All will be managed by Guinness Housing Association. The development comprises 3 x 2 bedroom and 6 x 3 bedroom properties. The houses are expected to be complete by November 2008.

Hartwell ford Garage site – Chippenham

This site, of 12 properties, near the former Cattle Market in Chippenham will see 9 x 2 bedroom properties for rent and 3 x 2 bedroom properties for Homebuy.

The properties will be managed by Westlea Housing Association and are expected to be complete by June 2008.

Heathfield – Chippenham

This site, of 4 properties, near the King Alfred Pub in Chippenham will see 2 x 2 bedroom and 2 x 4 bedroom properties for rent. The properties will be managed by Westlea Housing Association and are expected to be complete by March 2009.

Spanbourne Avenue – Chippenham

This site, of 13 properties, being built on former industrial land is being built in phases and will see 3 x 2 bedroom and 4 x 3 bedroom properties for rent and 4 x 2 bedroom  and 2 x 3 bedroom properties for Homebuy.

The properties will be managed by Sarsen Housing Association and are expected to be complete in phases in June 2008, January 2009 and March 2010.

Cattle Market – Chippenham

This is the largest development of affordable housing in North Wiltshire. The former Cattle Market site is being redeveloped to provide 71 affordable homes. The site is being developed in stages and when complete will provide 19 x 1 bedroom, 29 x 2 bedroom, 4 x 3 bedroom and 2 x 4 bedroom homes for rent and 1 x 1bedroom, 12 x 2 bedroom and 4 x 3 bedroom properties for Homebuy.

The properties will be managed by Sovereign Housing Association and are expected to be complete in phases throughout 2008.

Filands – Malmesbury

15 properties are being constructed at the Filands site in Malmesbury. When complete the location will provide a mix of 5 x 2 bedroom and 4 x 3 bedroom houses to rent and 6 x 2 properties for Homebuy. The properties will be managed by Jephson Housing and expected to be ready by March 2008.

Sawyers Hill – Minety

This site comprises of 5 houses and is being built in the village of Minety. When complete there will be 2 x 2 bedroom and 1 x 3 bedroom properties for rent and 1 x 2 bedroom and 1 x 3 bedroom properties for Homebuy.

The properties will be managed by Soveriegn Housing Association and are expected to be complete by March 2008.
