Rent a garage from the council

Please note: This service is only applies to residents living in the South of Wiltshire.

You can apply to rent a council garage whether you are living in a council property or not.

However, you must be applying for a garage that is:

• within one mile of your home
• intending only to use it for a car and not for storage
• Council tenants get priority when a garage becomes available. If no council tenant is waiting, we will offer it to the person who has been waiting the longest.
• Please note that if you are a council tenant, you will not normally be offered a garage if your rent account is in arrears.

• Your address
• Contact phone number
• Road name or names that you would like to be on the waiting list for
