  • Comunity bus can be pre-booked to go to Tesco in Salisbury on Thursdays.

  • Large, flat open space, mainly laid to grass. Residents have a number of flower beds and pots they care for.
Parking
  • Limited onsite parking for residents and their visitors.
Location
  • Very quiet scheme situated within a relaxed village setting. No noise problems.
Recreational activities
  • Communion - first Tuesday of every month
  • Over 60's Club - meet once a month in village hall on a Wednesday
  • Durrington Day Centre - run by Help The Aged weekly on a Friday.
Closest amenities
  • Shops - 10 minute walk to Co-op, Post Office and Tesco. 15 minutes to the Spar shop and Saisnbury's
  • Bus Stop - right outside scheme and opposite post office. The community bus needs to be pre-arranged by the residents.
  • Churches - All Saints (Anglican), Durrington Christian Fellowship, Durrington Free Church, Christ the King (Roman Catholic), all within a 15-20 minute walk
  • Doctors - 2 Doctor's surgery's in Bulford Road, 10 minutes walk
  • Dentist - nearest is Amesbury, 2.5 miles
  • Pubs - 3 local, Stonehenge Inn, The Plough and the Rose and Crown, all within walking distance
  • Leisure Facilities - Durrington swimming pool is a 15 minute walk
  • There is a park and ride station at the Beehive providing a frequent service into Salisbury - bus passes can be used
  • Salisbury is 11 miles away and has a market on Tuesday and Saturday
