  • Scheme on a slope with a lot of steps, hence the small garden. Pretty rural village setting.

  • Quiet, residential area with a lot of elderly people. Occasional noise from the village hall, which is situated just below the scheme.

  • Quizzes and social gatherings
  • Railway Club (Salisbury) - a number of residents belong and meet up socially, the club also organises a lot of day trips.
  • Village Social Club - run an 'Evergreen Club' for the elderly, also organise outings
  • There are numerous leisure activities in the city including the theatre, a cinema which holds a senior session every Wednesday morning. Details of clubs, day centres and associations can be obtained from the library.

  • Shops - Village shop are approximately 7 minutes walk for residents. Other shops 2 miles away in central Salisbury.
  • Bus Stop - approximately one minute walk, residents also use taxi's a lot because of the steep slope needed to walk up to get to the scheme.
