Barton Farm Country Park is owned by Wiltshire County Council and was established in 1971. Although the Park is a joy to visit and is relatively tidy, there is a lot of work needed to improve the infrastructure and enhance the wildlife areas and there are many opportunities for improving the visitor experience. We need your help to improve and care for the Park, to make it the sort of facility we all want it to be!
We are hoping that the local community will join us in the challenge to make Barton Farm Country Park a fantastic place for visitors and wildlife. Here are just some ideas of the projects that we might like to tackle.
If you'd like to help improve the Park in this mission, please....
Join us! We meet on the second Saturday of each month so if you’ve got a few hours spare why not come along for the morning? All you will need to bring along is yourselves and perhaps a waterproof coat; other than that all tools and training will be provided, we’ll even throw in a cup of tea and some biscuits!
And if you can think of anybody else that you know who may be interested then please spread the word!
Conservation work is an excellent way to keep fit, meet new people and to contribute something towards the Country Park. For more information please contact Leo on:
