Annual Monitoring Report

Monitoring is an essential element in preparing the Wiltshire and Swindon Minerals and Waste Development Framework (MWDF) by establishing what is happening now, and what may happen in the future.  Wiltshire County Council has produced its third Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) covering minerals and waste planning matters within the County and Swindon Borough during the period 1st April 2006 to 31st March 2007. There are two main aims of Wiltshire’s Annual Monitoring Report:

  • To report on the progress made in plan preparation as set out in Wiltshire and Swindon’s Minerals and Waste Development Scheme (MWDS); and
  • To assess the extent to which the adopted minerals and waste planning policies are being achieved.
