"Planning for future aggregate minerals development in Wiltshire and Swindon - It's not just lines on a map!"
The inaugural meeting of the Wiltshire and Swindon Minerals Development Framework Forum took place on 11th March 2004 at the Civic Hall in Trowbridge.
The purpose of the Forum is to debate how Wiltshire and Swindon plan to meet the Government's revised forecasts of aggregate mineral provision for the period 2001 - 2016.
Adams Hendry Consulting Ltd have been appointed as facilitators to ensure the Forum process is managed in an objective and unbiased manner, and to foster a constructive, balanced and transparent level of debate. The Forum will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to participate and influence future minerals policy decisions and will run alongside a Community Involvement Programme designed to engage the wider community on mineral planning issues in Wiltshire and Swindon.
