Planning appeals
Local Planning Authorities have a section which deals with the administration of appeals lodged by applicants on the decisions that the Council has made.
Appeals must be made in writing you can request a form from

Appeals can be lodged against the decisions of the Council for one of the reasons listed below:-
- Where permission has been refused.
- Where the Council has failed to give a decision on an application within the statutory time-frame.
- Where permission has been granted but the applicant is unhappy with the conditions that have been imposed.
- A Planning Enforcement Notice has been served.
Appeal forms and any documents that are attached should be copied to the Planning Authority.
