Pest control - honey bees
Because of the drastic decline in bee numbers over the last
few years Wiltshire Council is no longer treating bee swarms.
When a swarm is not causing a nuisance then it can normally be safely left where it is as bees will not generally sting unless provoked or frightened. If the swarm is a nuisance and is easily accessible then we recommend you contact a beekeeper in your area. Beekeepers can be found in the Yellow Pages. You could also try contacting the Wiltshire Beekeepers Association who may be able to give you details of beekeepers in your area who are prepared to collect swarms.
