About this service
These services are provided in locations across the County and offer a wide range of structured and informal sessions aimed to maintain or increase people’s independence, skills and quality of life. Wiltshire is mid way through a major modernisation of its day services which will support the development of smaller, more local services as well as offering more informal choices to those who have lower support needs.
Who can access these services?
People with learning disabilities and their family carers can access these services via their local Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD).
What can be offered without an assessment?
Referrals to Learning Disability Provider Services can only happen through the local CTPLD and as a result of the community care assessment.
Meeting Care Needs
Services will be provided in accordance with the outcomes of a person’s community care assessment and care plan.
Are you eligible for help?
People with learning disabilities and their family carers will have to meet the Council's eligibility criteria to access most of the services on offer to them.
How do we help?
Our services aim to maintain and enhance people’s skills and independence whilst offering relief to family carers.
