BBC Switchover Help Scheme
The West TV region - that includes parts of Wiltshire - will be switched over to digital TV from March 24 2010.
The Switchover Help Scheme will directly contact individuals who qualify for help to have their TVs converted.
This includes people who are:
- aged 75 or over
- have lived in a Care Home for 6 months or more
- get (or could get) disability living allowance, constant attendance allowance, attendance allowance or mobility supplement
- registered blind or partially sighted
If you think you qualify, you don't need to do anything at the moment. You'll be contacted by the help scheme in plenty of time before switchover.
You can find out more about the scheme and the digital switchover at: www.helpscheme.co.uk.
