The Meridian TV region - that includes parts of Wiltshire will be switched over to digital TV on the following dates

After these dates the traditional TV signal (analogue channels) will be switched off in these areas. If people don’t have digital TV by this time they will lose their TV channels.
The Switchover Help Scheme
- Offers practical support to older and disabled people to convert one TV in their home to digital
- People eligible for help will receive a letter from 8 August 2011. They can apply for help by returning a form or phoning 0800 40 85 900
- If they don’t respond they will get another letter in September and December
- The standard option includes easy to use equipment to convert one set, with installation and a 12 month aftercare service
- This costs £40 for most eligible people; some get a free service if they are on forms of pension credit or income support.
