What is Shopmobility?
Shopmobility is a scheme that enables people with temporary or permanent walking difficulties to get about in Salisbury city centre.
Members of the scheme can hire vehicles and walking aids that allow them to access the shops and facilities that Salisbury offers. The city centre provides good access for wheelchair users and those with walking difficulties, with numerous dropped kerbs, regular crossing points and widened pavements.
Shopmobility Salisbury is able to provide equipment including:
- electric scooters (three- and four-wheel)
- power chairs
- manual wheelchairs (in various sizes)
- shopper walkers
