Leisure centre update - July 2020
We won't be open from Saturday 25 July but we're working hard to make sure you can get back to visit us as soon as possible.
We've released reopening plans for all our centres which you can find here.
All direct debit members remain frozen, at no cost. This includes anyone on a Life Zone, Fitness Zone, Swim Zone, Junior Zone membership, as well as all Swim School and Gymnastics School memberships (where relevant).
Annual members and leisurecard holders will have all time lost by the closure, credited to their membership account once we have confirmation of opening dates.
Centre opening times
Last admittance every day is 30 minutes before the centre closes. Customers will not be able to access the facility after this point.
Calne Leisure Centre refurbishment
The construction work to transform Calne Leisure Centre into Calne Community Campus is now well underway.
£3.4 million is being invested in the project, which will improve the facilities and ensure the long-term sustainability of the centre.
This exciting project will deliver a new fitness suite, and the new gym will be twice the size of the existing gym. The wet change facilities will also be entirely reconfigured, delivering a modern village change area. You can see designs for the new centre below.
Construction work commenced in September 2019 and is being carried out in phases to minimise disruption to services. Full details of the project can be found via the link below.
Fitness suite opening date set for Monday 23 March! Please note that the current temporary gym will be available up until and including Sunday 22 March.
From Monday 23 March a second, new, temporary entrance will be in use around the left hand side of the building, rather than the current one at the rear of the building.
Group induction spaces for existing members to book into, to be shown the new equipment, are now available to be booked at reception.
Please note, the swimming pool will be closed between Monday 9 March and Friday 3 April for improvement works to the pool tank, surrounds and gullies.
