Ordnance Survey 6 inch and 25 inch to 1 mile scales
These maps were published intermittently as editions, approximately 1885, 1900, mid 1920's, and sometimes late 1930's and early 1940's. The most important and heavily used category of map we hold. All parts of the county are covered by at least one edition, and many areas by all.
Later Ordnance Survey maps
These are available at the scales of 6 inches to 1 mile and (later) the metric 1:10,000 for the period 1950-1970. Most of these maps are subject to copyright regulations which means we are restricted in the amount of copying we are able to do.
