From here it is possible to see the height of the original later 16th century house.
Over the early core are visible the tops of the mutilated east gable end behind the 17th century truss to the eastward extension.
Beyond is the top of the truss dividing hall and parlour and to the west beyond the firebreak are the probable remains of.
