Home Library Service arranges the selection and delivery of books and tapes to people who are unable to visit a library because of infirmity, disability or frailty.
People may be referred to their local library by friends or relatives or contact the library themselves. They may live alone or in a home or sheltered accommodation. This service is provided by library volunteers who deliver books and tapes, chosen specially, to housebound people on a regular basis, usually fortnightly.
