The Library Service

  • does not deny legitimate access to information by any member of the public, but recognises that such a resource is potentially open to misuse and abuse.

The County Council

  • cannot be held responsible for the content of the Internet. The Library Service applies a filtering mechanism to control access to information on the Internet. However, these cannot entirely prevent access to material of a sexually explicit, controversial or offensive nature. The Conditions of Use sets out the terms under which members of the Library Service may use the Internet.
