Museum Advisory Service
The Museums Advisory Service (formerly the Museum Service) provides direct assistance to 19 museum organisations across Wiltshire and works closely with many others. In addition, Museums Advisory Service staff provide advice and information for groups who are contemplating new museum projects in the County.
The Museums Advisory Service works in association with other Wiltshire County Council library and heritage teams to promote museums; in particular with the Conservation Service, which supports museums in the conservation of their collections.
