Customer update: fitness suite refurbishment information

Full information is available on the main council website and communications have been sent to fitness and rackets members.

Temporary gym provision will be available in the sports hall while work takes place in the fitness suite. There will need to be a gym closure to allow for equipment to be moved to the sports hall. We anticipate a closure of two days which will be Monday 20 May and Tuesday 21 May.
As the gym is being re-located to the sports hall, this will reduce court availability from four courts, to three.
Fitness classes will be relocated due to the studio being refurbished and some may be cancelled. Relocated classes will take place in either a squash court or the sports hall. We will share a programme of classes once this has been confirmed

Work is expected to be completed by the Autumn of 2024. We appreciate your patience with the temporary disruption.

Health suite facilities will temporarily close from Monday 9 January 2023 due to increased energy costs. For more information please visit our memberships webpage.
