Club development
The development of quality sports clubs is vital to achieve the 1% increase per annum in physical activity targeted by central government. The development of facilities, youth sections and academies, and coaches is essential to ensure high quality, sustainable sports clubs and assistance achieving these aims is available from the Sports Development team.
The attainment of a club accreditation scheme such as Clubmark is an important tool in attracting new members to your club and ensuring that your club is providing a high quality experience for all. Clubmark is a nationally recognised benchmark standard for recognising safe, effective, child friendly clubs. The Sports Development team is keen to work with any club who wishes to improve the infrastructure of their club so giving a higher quality product to its members.
