We aim to make Wiltshire a healthier county, through the creation and development of opportunities to exercise for all.

SHINE Wiltshire

SHINE (Self-Help, Independence, Nutrition and Exercise) Wiltshire is child weight management programme for children aged 7-11 years and their family, who are above their healthy weight range. SHINE is a 10 week program for children and their family which aims to provide support to the family to make the necessary changes to lead a healthier lifestyle.

The family-oriented program educates, supports, guides, and shows the fun element of a very serious problem around unhealthy lifestyles and weight which now affects more than one million young people in the UK.

The programme is being rolled out over 4 more locations across Wiltshire in January 2015.
