Join A Library Day kicks off our Membership Campaign!

The very first national Join A Library day on Saturday 26th April, kicked off our 2008 membership campaign. We are expecting many more to join us during May so pop into your library now. To see what is on offer or to join online, visit this page.

May Bank Holiday

All libraries will be closed on Monday 5th May for the bank holiday. Our Virtual Library and our Online
Information Services will be operating normally.

Review of mobile library routes

The library service is carrying out a review of mobile library routes. Visit Mobile Library Consultation to see a list of proposed revisions. Send your comments by Friday 25th July 2008 to the address below or by email to joandavis@wiltshire.gov.uk. indicating the relevant stop number, eg. B6, and Mobile Library name, eg. Wilton.

MiniStreet at Salisbury Library

Salisbury Library is hosting the eighth MiniStreet evening for teenagers aged 11to 15 on Thursday, May 29.The library becomes a high street for the evening, where those attending are invited to try lots of new experiences.
Are you aged between 11 and 15 and live in the Salisbury area? Do you have a special talent? Then show the world (or Salisbury at least) by entering MiniStreet’s Got Talent. Print out the application form, fill in your details and return it to Salisbury Library by Thursday 15 May. Once you have submitted your form you will be given an audition date. More...
