Markets cancelled due to extreme weather conditions

Wiltshire Council has taken the decision to cancel all outdoor markets due to be held on Thursday 29 November due to forecast high winds arriving with storm Diana.

The markets affected are Devizes, Bradford on Avon and Wilton.

The Shambles indoor market in Devizes will remain open.

All traders have been notified. The council believes there is a risk to trader and public safety if the markets went ahead and has taken an early decision to cancel.
