Marlborough Leisure Centre gym staff honoured for saving a man's life

Four members of staff at Marlborough Leisure Centre were given certificates from the Royal Humane Society today (Thursday 19 January) for their heroic actions which resulted in saving a man's life.

Philip Fidler, 60, collapsed while he was exercising in July last year. He suffered a ventricular fibrilliation which resulted in cardiac arrest. He was resuscitated by staff doing CPR and using a defibrillator.
