Off-street parking and waiting restrictions
Wiltshire Council control a total of 68 surface and multi storey car parks across the County. We also provide 4 park and ride sites on the outskirts of Salisbury with a fifth site in development.

Within all Council operated car parks you must not:
- Overstay the maximum permitted time
- Stay in a pay and display car park without prominently displaying a valid ticket
- Park other than wholly within a marked bay
- Park in a space reserved for disabled persons (other than permitted exemptions)
- Park a goods vehicle other than within a marked bay
- Advertise or carry out any trade or business
- Return within the stated time of ticket expiry to any car park (or areas thereof) where a maximum time limit is stated
Contravention of the above orders could result in a penalty charge of up to £70, with a discount of 50% if paid within the first 14 days.
