Wiltshire Council operates a scheme to reimburse bus operators for allowing free travel to holders of the Wiltshire Bus Pass and other bus passes in the English National Concessionary Travel Scheme. Reimbursement is intended to make the operator no better and no worse off for accepting bus passes and the method used complies with national guidance issued by the Department for Transport.
A revised scheme will take effect from 1 April 2011 and documents explaining the scheme are set out below.
