We are responsible for bus shelters along the inter-urban bus routes, where improvements have been carried out under the umbrella of the Key Bus Route Network Project. This project aims to improve bus travel in the area and make it more attractive as an alternative to the private car.
Ownership of shelters
Bus shelters that are not owned by us are owned by either of the following organisations:
- Parish / Town Councils own and maintain most bus shelters (except those erected by us)
- Adshel is a company that owns and maintains some shelters with advertising displays in Wiltshire.
Damage to shelters
To report any damage to bus shelters such as broken glass, please contact our highways department, who will pass the information on to the owner of the shelter.
Report a bus shelter problem online or use the contact details below.
General enquiries
Any general enquires such as the location of a bus stop, information on our improvements to shelters and bus stops on the Key Bus Route Network, or the availability of shelter grants should be directed to the Infrastructure Liaison Officer.
