Street Parties or Events on the Public Highway
Street parties and fetes to celebrate events are a traditional part of community life and are a great way for us to get to know our neighbours and meet members of our community.
Wiltshire Council is keen to promote community activity where it can be accommodated conveniently and safely. With this in mind Wiltshire Council has adopted the following guidance and flow chart which is designed to make it straightforward for you to arrange and conduct these types of events.

- What forms you need to complete and how to let the council know of your intended plans.
The number one tip for holding a party is to plan early, think about what you want to achieve and get in touch with the council 'at least 4-6 weeks in advance'.
