Restriction of Works Following Substantial Road Works
- In accordance with Section 58 of The New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, the Wiltshire Council as Street Authority hereby gives three months notice of its intention to restrict proposed works for THREE YEARS for the purpose of carrying out Substantial Works for Road Purposes as detailed below:
- The works are located at Fore Street & Wicker Hill, Trowbridge.
- Work is expected to affect the carriageway of Wicker Hill roundabout junction (GR: 385468,158038) to Fore Street, junction Manvers Street (GR: 385534,158054)
- Work is expected to commence on Sunday 13th September 2009 (one day only).
- Subject to the exemptions in the Act and the Regulations under it, no street works may be executed in the length of Highway described in Paragraph ‘2’ above, without the consent of Wiltshire County Council, which shall not be unreasonably withheld, for a period of three years following the completion of the works described in Paragraph ‘3’above.

- In accordance with Section 58 of The New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, the Wiltshire Council as Street Authority hereby gives three months notice of its intention to restrict proposed works for THREE YEARS for the purpose of carrying out Substantial Works for Road Purposes as detailed below:
- The works are located at High Street, Weymouth Street, Market Place, Station Road & East Street, Warminster.
- Work is expected to affect the carriageway of Weymouth Street (GR: 387425,145038) to the junction with High Street (GR: 387433,145096). Then from High Street (GR: 387397,145103), it meets Market Place (GR: 387438,145094) and goes onto the roundabout (GR: 387609,145034), where it joins East Street (GR: 387634,145012) and Station Road (GR: 387628,145054)
- Work is expected to affect the footway on both sides of: Market Place (part) (GR: 387522,154068) to the roundabout (GR: 387609,145034), where it joins East Street (GR: 387634,145012) and Station Road (GR: 387628,145054)
- Work is expected to commence on the footway in May 2009 through to August 2009. (*Footway works marked blue on attached plan*)
- The complete carriageway resurfacing will take place in August 2009. (*Carriageway works marked red on attached plan*)

- The works are located at Bath Road & Rowden Hill, Chippenham.
- Work is expected to affect the carriageway of: Rowden Hill (GR: 391230,172706) to the Bath Road roundabout junction (GR: 390893,172538) with Brunel Court and Melksham Road, then continuing on through Bath Road (to point GR: 390772,172493)
- Work is expected to commence in on Tuesday 26th May 2009 through to Saturday 30th May 2009. (*Carriageway works marked blue on attached plan (pdf 1008Kb) *)
- Subject to the exemptions in the Act and the Regulations under it, no street works may be executed in the length of Highway described in Paragraph ‘2’ above, without the consent of Wiltshire Council, which shall not be unreasonably withheld, for a period of three years following the completion of the works described in Paragraph ‘3’above.

- The works are located at HIGH STREET, MELKSHAM - *PHASE TWO*
- Work is expected to affect the footway (A) of: High Street (390487, 163812) Avon Place to its junction of (390467, 163760) Church Street, both sides. FIVE YEAR RESTRICTION – RECONSTRUCTION OF FOOTWAY
- Carriageway (B) of High Street (390496, 163835) at its junction with Lowbourne and Bank Street Roundabout to (390477, 163765) Stratton’s Walk. THREE YEAR RESTRICTION – RESURFACING OF CARRIAGEWAY
- Work is expected to commence on 17 March 2010 for 12 weeks.
- Subject: to the exemptions in the Act and the Regulations under it, no street works may be executed in the length of Highway described in Paragraph ‘2’ above, without the consent of Wiltshire County Council, which shall not be unreasonably withheld, for a period of three years following the completion of the works described in Paragraph ‘3’above.

- Work is expected

Salisbury Street, Amesbury (PLAN) 399kb): From Salisbury Street (Salisbury Road end) (GR: 415529,141401),
to the roundabout junction with High Street and Church Street (GR: 415354,141476). Continue on right,
entering High Street (from GR: 415354,141478 to GR: 415361,141484) or turning left, entering Church
Street (from GR: 415352,141476 to GR: 415347,141472). Also from Flower Lane (GR: 415414,141389) to where
it joins back with Salisbury Street (GR: 415445,141424). - The work is scheduled to be complete by Friday 11th July 2009 and the restriction is to commence on Tuesday 11th August 2009.
