building work are contained within the Approved Documents. These functional guides cover everything
from foundation design to ventilation and fire safety.
All the Approved Documents can be accessed via The Planning Portal and can be downloaded for free.
The Portal is updated regularly and also contains other useful information related to both planning, building regulations and allied legislation.
